What is Sign in with Apple?
Sign in with Apple is a fast, private way to create and access your Solid Starts account using your Apple Account — no new password needed! Sign in with Apple lets you create or log in to your Solid Starts account using your existing Apple Account. Instead of inputting an email and password, you simply tap a button and authenticate with:
Face ID
Touch ID, OR
Your device passcode
How to Sign-In
On the log-in page, tap the Sign in with Apple button.
You'll be asked to confirm your name and email address.
Authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.
That's it — your account is created instantly.
During sign-in, Apple will ask whether you want to share your real email address with Solid Starts, or use Hide My Email.
With Hide My Email, Apple generates a unique, random email address (ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com) that automatically forwards messages to your real inbox. Solid Starts only sees the relay address, not your personal email.
Viewing Your Sign-in Details
You can see which apps and websites you've connected to Sign in with Apple — and whether Hide My Email is active — in your Apple device settings:
Open the Settings app and tap your name.
Tap Sign in with Apple.
Select Solid Starts from the list. If Hide My Email is active, you'll see the @privaterelay.appleid.com address listed there.
How Can I Share my Account with a Partner/Caregiver if I use “Sign in with Apple?”
Accounts are shared on the Solid Starts App by having each caregiver log into the app on their own phone with the same email and password.
If you use Sign in with Apple and wish to share your account, you need to add a standard email/password login to your account. To do this:
Click “Authentication” in your app’s profile page
Set an email and password
Once a password is created, you can share that password with your partner/other caregiver.
